sex repulsion is not a requirement for being asexual. sex-indifferent and sex-favorable aces exist and are real, full, and wonderful members of the asexual community deserving of respect

because like. how many fucking lesbians on this earth, without any attraction to men, have had sex with them? in order to have kids? or because they’re sex workers? or because it fulfilled a physical or emotional need, despite the total lack of attraction? or because they were married to a friend who provided cover for them, and they weren’t bothered by the idea of having sex with him once in a while, because even if it did nothing for them personally it meant something to them to be able to do that for their fauxsband? or because they felt so much pressure around it, and needed to do it to make sure they WEREN’T attracted to men?
How come, when you talk about (the TERF term) compulsory heterosexuality, everybody gets why someone could have sex with guys and still be a lesbian… but they have zero concept of compulsory sexuality as a whole, and can’t get why someone could have sex and still be ace?
